Online via SmartHub 

SmartHub provides convenient account access and two-way communication via your mobile device or computer. Manage payments, notify customer service of account changes and service issues, check your usage, and receive special messaging from BrightRidge all at the touch of a button.

By Phone

To maintain our high quality of service, the APS allows you to conduct business via the automated system.  The APS allows us to respond to a greater number of calls, which provides quicker, more efficient service for all. The result is that we are able to better respond to your calls, while minimizing your time spent on hold.

You may conduct any of the following via the Automated Phone System:

  • Pay by credit card
  • Pay via e-check
  • Report a power outage 
  • Check account balances
  • Set up Recurring Bank Draft

24-Hour Payment Kiosk

Our 24-Hour Payment Kiosk is located at the end of our first drive-thru lane located at 2600 Boones Creek Road, Johnson City, TN. This new kiosk will accept credit/debit cards, checking accounts, and cash (no change will be returned, and any overpayments will be applied to your account).

All payments will be posted in real-time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for both BrightRidge electric and broadband accounts. Please note, your account number will be required to make a payment.

In person

BrightRidge is located at 2600 Boones Creek Road, Johnson City, TN.  You may visit our office during regular business hours, Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm for general business or to make payment either by walk-in or drive-thru.

Walk-in customers will use our check-in kiosk to sign-in for general business and service requests.  You can also schedule an appointment ahead of time with a BrightRidge Customer Service Representative to avoid wait time.

Alternate Payment Locations

As a convenience for you, BrightRidge offers a variety of payment locations. Be sure to note specific locations and any special requirements. Please present a copy of your bill upon payment at any of the payment locations listed below. Bill payments are due on or before the due date listed on your invoice.

Payments for past due accounts should be paid at the BrightRidge office at 2600 Boones Creek Road, Johnson City. Other entities that accept electric bill payments DO NOT accept payments for past due accounts.

Gift Certificates

BrightRidge gift certificates are available for purchase at BrightRidge. Gift certificates are sold in the main lobby at the cashier stations and may be purchased for any increment. BrightRidge gift certificates are also a great idea for churches and civic organizations to keep on-hand for gift giving.
