For every degree below 68 degrees, the savings could be as much as three percent of your future power bills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Delay using large appliances like dishwashers, washing machines and electric dryers during peak demand hours \u2013 typically between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. in the morning and 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. in the evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 If the weather is sunny, open your window blinds or drapery coverings on the sunny side of the house to let nature\u2019s heat help keep you comfortable.
