BrightRidge Solar Lab

In an effort to promote its commitment to solar power and sustainability, BrightRidge installed the Solar Lab to attain goals of education, production and public awareness. First, the Solar Lab is an onsite laboratory for area students to learn about photovoltaic energy generation. Next, its production offsets 100% of the usage of BrightRidge’s Administrative Offices, enough to power 60 homes annually. Finally, it’s a public showcase that demonstrates our commitment to solar energy and sustainability in that BrightRidge has ‘solar sheep’ maintain the grass under the panels, thus avoiding the need for gasoline mowers.
