Brightridge, Pike Electric host Live Line Training for area First Responders
BrightRidge was honored to host 200 area police, fire and emergency medical first responders, line worker students and other community members on Tuesday for a Live Line Demonstration event conducted by Pike Electric.
BrightRidge would like to thank Pike safety trainers Andy Cleary, Mike Blevins and Kevin Hamm for running the demonstration which focused on identifying components of an electric distribution system, personal protective equipment and safety steps that must be taken when working with energized wires.
BrightRidge & Pike Electric encourage all citizens to be safety conscious and avoid contact with downed lines as well as trees or other objects that are in contact with conductor wire.
BrightRidge can be alerted to a safety concern through the SmartHub mobile app, social media or by phoning 423-952-5000 and selecting option 1 from the phone menu for electric service.
