Traffic stoppages scheduled Thursday night & Friday morning for State of Franklin Road
JOHNSON CITY – BrightRidge will be pulling new conductor wire across State of Franklin Road near the intersection with Med Tech Parkway requiring intermittent traffic stoppages from 8 p.m. Thursday, December 19 continuing through 6 a.m. Friday, December 20.
Johnson City Police Officers will control the State of Franklin Road intersections at Sunset Drive and Knob Creek Road to assist in traffic management during the work period. Motorists are asked to seek alternative routes where possible, while using the utmost caution if necessary to transit the work zone during the work period.
The work is part of continuing electric system improvements designed to improve resiliency of the system.
